Print, Eat, Repeat
Time & Location
About the event
Youth counterculture reaches its audience through street and protest art, but rarely does it crossover into other platforms, let alone reach gallery exhibits. Some local artists in San Antonio are making efforts to transcend genres and reach a larger audience while making accessible art. One such artist, prayxplot, will make strides to revolutionize San Antonio’s counterculture with Print, Eat, Repeat. This will be an interactive, art event and exhibit featuring live screen printing and vegan food. The goal is to create an atmosphere where the audience is part art and consumer, where the conversation becomes artistic expression, and the food an extension of the exhibit.
Print, Eat, Repeat will feature artists Cassiy Fritts, Gabomartinipotts, Glennedinburg, Maruchann, Luma SATX, prayxplot, and Zerktronic. For prayxplot, this event will be “pretty epic...to get all this talent under one roof.” Attendants are invited to bring their own clothes to have printed by the artists for $10. Music will be provided by Jevonchi and Mama Tierra will be providing Vegan, Mexican food. This all ages event will be on Friday, June 1st from 7-11pm at The Movement Gallery, 1412 E. Commerce, and the exhibit will be up for two weeks. For private viewings, call 210-299-2666.
