Subterranean Fire: Historias de la Clase Obrera
This exhibition commemorates the 2016 International Workers’ Day through the lens of nine working class gente in San Antonio. Participants documented their lives in and out of the workplace, capturing the struggle, their
home-life, family, and spaces in between. Throughout the process, the photographers were guided by a team of local curators who helped shape the stories.

Participating photographers include Alicia Sanchez, Deyanira Granados, Gaby Gonzalez, Judith Zendejas, Mari Robledo, Alfredo Lopez, Oscar Sanchez, Raquel Peralta and Rosalva Fuentes.
Curators were Kimberly Rendon, Arlene Mejorado, Sarah Garrahan, Francisco Cortes and gabriel morales.
